Wentworthville Leagues Club: Demolish & Easy Eats 2145

Outside of major malls and dining precincts lies a dining culture of clubs, RSLs, sports clubs and entertainment complexes where outer suburb communities converge.  It’s comfortable, its no fuss, it’s easy and in recent years with multi million dollar refurbishments, venues find themselves lifting their game to compete with destination dining spaces.  At Wentworth ‘Wenty’ Leagues club, its all about comfort foods with no fuss and the tastebuds of punters left satisfied.

DEMOLISH will push the limits of your beliefs towards what goes into burgers, pizzas and wings. It’s a flavour experience that takes it to the next level.” says Head Chef, Collin Yabsley.

Highlights:
Elvis Pigsley – a tribute to a favourite sandwich of the King himself.  The burger is made with pork belly, crunchy peanut butter, streaky maple bacon, fried banana, coleslaw and caramerlised onion peacan jam on a milk bun. This mix of savoury and sweet flavours complement one another beautifully and bring out the best in all the salty, sugary and rich ingredients.Peking Duck Pizza made with hoi sin sauce, onions, shallots, fried wonton, cucumber, coriander and mozzarella. The mixture of Asian inspired ingredients placed on a pizza dough and baked inside a woodfire oven creates an amazing blend of East meets West flavours.

EASY EATS 2145 aims to bring back the appreciation for the old favourites.  It’s a back to basics approach where schnitzel can be deliciously violated with  fresh basil pesto, bolognese, boscaiola or napolitano sauce.   It’s a dangerous dream of Mixed Grill lamb loin chops, Deli Style Bratwurst sausage and a choice of schnitzel served with a side of mash and vegetables.  Rustic and contentment is the vision.
