The promise of their epic burgers led me to face a childhood cringe factor. The modernisation of their desserts with hints of filipino flavours have found mainstream appeal.
Was never a fan of filipino style spaghetti – there’s a sweetness to the sauce and the pasta is commonly not al dente. They’ve stayed true to that cultural style in their non-burger dish which is accompanied with chicken coated in a spicy batter – this is what saves the dish – subjectively speaking.
There are better ways to spend $18 here and other places and it would be the gourmet burgers and desserts I would come back for. This is where there strength is:
