The Australian Turf Club’s TAB Epsom Day welcomed the Everest Carnival’s biggest day of Group 1 racing at Royal Randwick, with three elite races worth almost $4 million in prizemoney, headlined by the $1 million TAB Epsom Handicap (1600m). Two weeks out from the world’s richest race on turf, the $14 million The TAB Everest, the Group 2 $500,000 Bisley Workwear Premiere Stakes featured several of The TAB Everest runners including Osborne Bulls and Classique Legend.
Dubbed as the day for racing purists, the Australian Turf Club will welcome star milliner Ann Shoebridge and a variety of sports stars, including NRL, GWS and Sydney Swift players. Racegoers can enjoyed free festivities at Pony Palms with top DJs, access to the TAB Country Club and renowned party band Furnace and the Fundamentals after the last race in the Theatre of the Horse.
