Body was craving some protein after an intense workout session and in that vision of post recovery sustenance was a soup bowl packed with protein where I had control of the noodle carb content. Still probably not the healthiest choice, but for the most part ticked all the boxes.
It’s simple. Grab a bowl, work your way down the production line of vegetables (spinach, greens, mushroom variations, carrot eggplant and more), choose your protein (meats, calamari, cuttle fish, basa, king prawn, mussels), choose your noodle (vermicelli, sweet potato, bean curd roll, egg, hokkien etc) and dump it your tongs in the rack and put your bowl on the scales, take your buzzer and they’ll cook it up for you.
Calculated at $2.68 per 100g, this baby weighed in at just over 1kg and with a drink was the cost of two standard priced laksas. It was quite a fill and didnt have that usual heavy feeling after a dish like this as the ratio of protein/vegetable to noodle was about 10:1.
An easy fix at the entry of the building, can see myself coming back for this over and over again for lazy days and more so in the winter.
