Yesterday morning Husk and Pared Eyewear hosted an intimate Brunch event for media, influencers and friends of the brands. The event was hosted by Husk’s Creative Director, Kirrily Johnston and Pared’s Co – Founder and Creative Director Samantha Stevenson – Baker. Riad was the perfect setting with its monochromatic morrocan al fresco setting eminating the stylish looks of the Pared Eyewear range.
A light brunch and juices were enjoyed while browsing the Husk x Pared collection at the dedicated gifting suite. Guests were able to try on and then select a frame from the capsule collection. Guests included Darcy Spinks, Jess & Steff of ‘How Two Live’, make-up artist Tre Dallas, photographer Ivana Martyn, photographer & content creator Fredrika Akander, make-up artist Shella Ruby Martyn, buyer Anna Riches, stylist Kate Gaskin, DJ & photographer Kelvin Dana and founder of BODi Laura Jane Corker with music from DJ Jesus Loyola.
What’s great about events like this is we got to see a different side to Riad in their bespoke brunch menu creation, catered by the ‘Frank & Harri’ team.
Embodying the theme of the event and what’s trending now in modern cafe cuisine, the bespoke menu was inspired by the colours and seasonality of Husk’s Summer Casa Adobe collection. Seasonal freshness of fruit, freshly baked pastries, anti-oxidant wholefoods packed into roles, airy chia bowls and beautifully stacked fritters not only were delicious but built a connection to the showcase.
Colour popping dishes of clean eating, coupled with sophisticated design and a guest list of Melbourne movers and shakers, its was sizzling summer event not to be missed.
