In the face of adversity emerges the kindness of strangers. Brisbane family-run catering business Chez Nous Corporate Catering are generously delivering old-school, home-made comfort meals to local teachers.
“Our business is certainly feeling the full force of this crisis, but Chez Nous Corporate Catering continues to operate and we are grateful to those in the community who are making that possible, particularly those working at the coalface, like our teachers”, said manager director Penny Culpo.
“For many, food is a source of comfort, connection and control. And right now, we need a generous helping of all those things,” Culpo said.

The free teacher meals include items from Chez Nous Corporate Catering’s home delivered comfort meal menu which was quickly rolled out in the wake of the epidemic so customers can enjoy fresh-cooked home-made meals with their family, gift to those most in need, or freeze for use over the coming weeks as we all face the inconveniences of social distancing and the depletion of grocery stock.

This comes at a time when measures we all know about are now being implemented and enforced, while educational institutions and workers conditions will vary due to variations in strategies being enacted by each state and territory independently.
Pick up options are also available.
Chez Nous is French for ‘our house’ and as such, the small family-run business established in 2003 has always prided themselves on bringing the quality, tradition and comfort of home to their catering services.

Many have said they have always gone above and beyond to impart the love, care and attention you would expect from home cooking with the quality and finesse of experienced professionals, and this is true now more than ever.
