The skin below the chin and between the jaw line and neck is called jowls. With age that skin begins to sag and it loses its elasticity.
Men and women use plastic surgery to “repair” that part, make it tighter and more youthful looking.
There are a few ways to avoid getting saggy skin around the neck.
Exercise that area with appropriate movements. Firstly, bend your head backwards and start moving your jaw as if chewing food.
This will create tension in the jaw but it will also make the muscles tighter. Another exercise is to repeatedly and with fully open mouth say the letters “O” and “E” – this will again work out the muscles.
Appy a neck sheet mask – just like there are masks for the face, hands, feet, hair and many other parts of the body, there is also a sheet mask for the jowls area.
Why is it called teck neck? It’s because, especially nowadays, people spend a lot of time looking down on their phones, tablets and laptops, that the neck skin loses its elasticity and becomes saggy. Of course, age mainly contributes to this condition but technology is also to blame. Keep your head up and enjoy the world around!
