Cocktail hour explodes with the scents of summer

unnamed (2)

Last week I got to party Sydney’s most luxurious rooftop bar, Zephyr Bar Sydney who has taken its latest cocktail menu to new heights with a selection of scented cocktails. In collaboration with Parisienne scent designer and founder of Maison 21G Johanna Monange, the team at Zephyr have curated a collection of cocktails inspired by the scents of summer from M21G’s Eau de Parfum collection.

Ignite your senses from the moment you set foot into this open-air bar boasting panoramic views of Darling Harbour.  As you make your way through the sensory menu, simply select your preferred cocktail and perfume pairing as you sip and smell these tantalizing combinations.

If you find a scent, you cannot live without you can even purchase the
25ml bottle exclusively at Zephyr for a combined price of $55.

As many know blue denim is the only colour I allow myself to wear, so I was thrilled when I heard Diesel was designing the bottle.  Now my bottle of Disaronno I keep in my closet doesn’t look out of place!  The launch of this epic collaboration of two Italian brand titans was such a nice event, the space, the vibe, the crowd – Belissimo!

The Saronno Italian liquer, Disaronno® is constantly changing its look, and in it’s latest incarnation, steps in to classic signature denim textile in a limited edition collaboration with Breganze fashion label, Diesel.

The luxurious amber liquer forms the base of many popular cocktails and potions, and is a hit on the rocks with its almond distinction using a recipe that has remained unchanged since the 16th Century.

Disaronno wears Diesel is a limited edition bottle wrapped in an eye-grabbing denim pattern, representing Diesel’s signature fabric.

The design reflects the synergies of the two brands: both are world-renowned, Italy-based companies that share a strong focus on promoting creativity and originality.

“Every year, the announcement of the Disaronno Limited Edition collaboration is an important international occasion, which we always look forward to. This year, the Disaronno bottle, with its unmistakable shape, takes on an unexpected look full of character. It is the perfect blend of Italian style and modernity,” said Augusto Reina, CEO of ILLVA Saronno Holding.

It’s a spice rum blend in honour of a Hawaiian ex-Navy vet his tattoo designs that were popular with World War II soldiers and sailors.

“Australians are going to be the first to experience these RTDs, just in time for the warmer months! These maintain the same authentic Sailor Jerry spirit. The combination of our iconic bold rum with delicious cola or dry ginger flavours is one we know they are going to love.” said Global Sailor Jerry Brand Ambassador Gravy Thomas.  Crafted in the traditional Navy way by William Grant & Sons, Sailor Jerry is bold and smooth, with hints of caramel and vanilal made from Caribbean Rum with an ABV of 46%.
