Next to the Christmas Season, how is April not anyone’s favorite month of the year? Two 4 day weeks in a row, and celebrations of reflection, confectionary and patriotism! A quick scan across metropolitan and suburban Sydney, here’s some of the cool things taking place and being served up….
People were doing double takes last week when ex Married at First Sight wild boy, Ryan Gallagher was working behind the bar serving up drinks! Did he finally lose the plot? Was there a secret scandal that forced him into retreat after moving into standup comedy?
As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, The Ternary Restaurant on Darling Harbour is now offering a trio of hearty winter warmer dishes to be enjoyed against the spectacular backdrop of the iconic Sydney Harbour.
The first offering is perfect for sharing with a friend, partner or colleague; a cheese board and bottle of red. The board is adorned with a selection of local and imported cheeses, including a variety from France that sit alongside quince paste and walnut bread. This is paired with a beautiful bottle of the McWilliam’s 480 2015 Shiraz Wine for just $49. McWilliam’s 480 wines are grown at an altitude of 480 metres to develop deep flavour and tannins whilst the cooler temperatures at higher altitudes promote freshness and aroma, which match perfectly with the richness of the cheeses.
