The rudeness of Winter showing up ealy last week sparked the idea for Moconna Coffee who are on a mission to heat things up this season!   As we switch modes in search of interesting pastimes to keep us entertained indoors, we are reminded of the soothing effects of the rich pedigree of these craft blends.

Q Theatre has been making theatre for more than 50 years. Based at The Joan, Penrith, we offer pathways for early career and established artists to train, grow and develop. We seek to create theatre that sits just beyond what we think is currently possible. In 2019 you can catch a bunch of new work, fresh and hot, straight out of Q Theatre.

Whether you’re an actor, writer, musician, digital artist or spoken word poet, Q Theatre’s Studio Q is on the hunt for people with a hunger for making live art.  Auditions for 12 young artists, aged 18 – 26, to take part in the 2019 ‘Originate’ performance project will be held in early May with the project kicking off later that same month.

Saturday Night Fever: Opening at Lyric Theatre

Tickets for the iconic hit musical Saturday Night Fever, which will premiere in Sydney at the Sydney Lyric Theatre from 29 March 2019, are now on sale.  Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost today announced three of the cast members of the new version of this classic hit show. Paulini, Natalie Conway and Nana Matapule will be three of the ensemble of singers who will give voice to the much-loved disco soundtrack, alongside a cast of incredible dancers.

Book of Mormon on Tour: LYRIC THEATRE

The Book of Mormon, Broadway’s smash hit musical written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez, is coming to Brisbane and Adelaide. The Tony®, Olivier®, Grammy® and Helpmann® award-winning show will begin performances at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC on 16 March 2019 for a limited season, before it transfers to the Festival Theatre, Adelaide from 27 June 2019.
