Chief mixologist and founder of Gin Lane & Spritz Bar, Grant Collins will be flooding Kensington Street with a day full of celebrations to mark World Gin Day. From 12pm-5pm sip your Saturday away with the special Happy Hour gin cocktails at Sydney’s home of gin cocktails, Gin Lane. Then, as the sun sets, make your way to Spritz Bar to enjoy
5-7pm Happy Hour featuring creations showcasing unique and authentic Victorian gins from Patient Wolf Gin Co., Hemp Gin, Lyre’s and Four Pillars. Prior to Spritz’ Happy Hour, the venue will let drinkers get up close and personal with a “Meet the Makers” gin tasting session from 1-4pm.
The Luxury Vintage Negroni $175
An extravagant signature reserved only for true gin aficionados only. A combination of original 70-year-old Gordon’s Gin, a 50-year- old Campari and Vintage Vermouth from the 1980s, the creation is served in a Royal Doulton cut crystal tumbler over handmade
triple frozen ice with a zest of citrus and finishes with a light Earl
Grey tea smoke.
Cucumber & Thyme G&T Tanqueray London Dry Gin, citrus house tonic, and and finished with fresh cucumber and a touch of thyme.
Spiced G&T
Tanqueray gin, infused with cinnamon, black star anise, clove, spice syrup and garnished
with citrus and spices.
Popcorn Negroni
Sous vide popcorn gin, vermouth and Campari served with a side of smoked, salted popcorn.
The good times don’t stop at the bar. From 1.30PM – 4PM Kensington Street will come alive to the sounds of a raucous live band. Then from 5PM – 7PM dance your way into the evening with an on-site DJ playing sumptuous cocktail tunes.
